Job Summary:
Capstone Hospitality is seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Business Development to join our leadership team. The Vice President will play a critical role in driving new client acquisition and managing the onboarding process for new clients. This position requires collaboration with the Executive Vice President (EVP) and the Vice President of Sales to ensure the success of Capstone Hospitality's business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
Prospect new client clubs and drive lead generation initiatives for business development.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis to tailor client pitches and proposals.
Travel to prospective clubs for on-site meetings and pitches, in collaboration with the Executive Team.
Conduct virtual meetings and presentations as needed.
Collaborate with Capstone’s Executive Team to customize proposals and contracts.
Oversee due diligence and prepare strategic plans for new client onboarding.
Partner with the EVP of Business Development & Operations team to ensure a seamless transition of new clients through due diligence and implementation phases.
Foster strong relationships with existing clients to drive referrals and long-term partnerships.
Achieve annual new client acquisition targets and business development goals.
Track all prospective client contacts, sales activities, and deals in Capstone’s CRM system, providing detailed monthly reports on lead generation and sales performance.
Represent Capstone at industry events such as seminars, conferences, and Capstone podcasts to promote the brand.
Evaluate and refine club acquisition processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support Capstone Hospitality’s growth objectives while maintaining company culture and upholding quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience, ideally within the club/resort industry.
Strong industry network and established contacts.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and foster partnerships.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Highly self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with teleconference software (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
Desired Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in collegiate or professional sports.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
A commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
Job Type:
Full-time
Preferred location: Jacksonville, FL, corporate office.
This role requires regular travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Compensation:
Total annual compensation range: $100,000- $120,000+ based on qualifications and
experience.
Compensation includes base salary, commission, and performance-based bonuses.
Additional earning potential is available for those who exceed performance metrics and sales targets.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:
-Conduct direct membership sales to new members at Capstone Hospitality’s client club
-Meet and exceed monthly and annual membership sales budget goals
-Implement strategic membership sales plan at the client club
-Implement the Capstone Hospitality lead generation programs to generate new qualified leads for prospective new members
-Generate new leads via outbound calling, networking, and marketing
-Complete new member sales reporting and on-boarding documentation
-Work with current club members and staff to promote referral programs
-Become an integral part of the club staff on-site at the private club and provide exceptional client relations to club management and staff
-Generate and submit accurate monthly and annual sales reports
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years professional work experience in sales and marketing
-Minimum of 2 years collegiate or professional sports experience preferred
-Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
-Strong partnering, influencing, and relationship building skills
-Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment, meet deadlines. and handle pressure
-Self-driven and highly-motivated
-Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
-Strong organizational skills
-Must be willing to attend training in Neptune Beach, FL
Income Summary
-Average annual salary inclusive of base + commissions is $75,000-$130,000+.Sales professionals enjoy the ability to control their own income with no cap on commissions.

Training
-This position requires an initial training period of approximately 14-21 days at the Capstone headquarters in Jacksonville, FL (free housing provided during training period). Training length depends on level of experience and club availability.
- After completion of training, the Membership Sales Director will be assigned to a client club and be responsible for membership sales on-site at the assigned club. Applicants must live in, or be willing to relocate to the city where the private client club is located. Locations are in the U.S.
